HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

By enjoying the company I'm with. I like to share my skills and talents. I play well with others. I like a good debate. Some say I am passionate and some say I'm intense.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

My couch surfing experience comes from years of climbing trips. Would take one or two months and just go. Meet people along the way. One time I was driving North along the Bitterroot heading to Missoula and didn't want to spend the money on a camp ground so I drove around in this small community till I found a small farm. I drove in and asked if I could sleep out in a field for the night. The elderly gentleman said only if you help move my new organ into the house. So, I help his son move this beautiful organ into the their home. This man used to own an piano and organ store for 30 years. They feed me and he played gospel hymns, some classical. It was an experience I will never forget and I suspect they felt the same.

Intereses

I love to climb ice, alpine, big wall, sport, trad, boulder and manage my little climbing gym. I love photography, drawing, drinking wine -- I really love wine -- reading about wine and talking about wine. I love people learning about others experiences and hearing their ideas and dreams or what ever they may want to share.

Algo increíble que he hecho

The latest amazing thing has to be the birthday party held at the Sandpoint Rock Gym for my dear friend. We had many people there. A good friend set up at the last minute and spun records, we had lots of Tequila and food many great people hung out and danced. For a moment I stopped and looked around the room and made eye contact with as many people as I could. I was overwhelmed by the magic of this moment. My intention set to action and the generosity of the community made it all happen. My actions created such happiness for everyone who participated. And, I have a feeling more moments like this are still to come.

I know the Sandpoint area intimately and love to share some of it's urban and natural secretes.
I love to take people out climbing even if one has never done it.
I love to share my love of wine. I love to share moments on a trail, a midnight skinny dip with good people, a stone, a feather, a journey.
