I am an outgoing and peace loving woman. I try to treat others with respect as I like to be treated the same. To me the experience of community is basic in a meaningful life; as interaction I understand to share joy and laughter as well as the weight of sorrow and tears - and to share this not only with familiy members and close friends, but with whomever I am facing. Although I love music and dancing, I am not an every-weekend-party-person. I drink alcohol very rarely and use no other drugs. As much as I love to be with others, at times I need some time & space just for myself.

Why I'm on Couchsurfing
The most wonderful fact about this world is that in any place I've visited so far, I met beautifully friendly people. This memory should always guide me and my attitude towards the unknown - whether in my home or when I'm the stranger myself.
Music, Movies, and Books
My all times favorites include Chico Buarque, Nina Simone, Rizzle Kicks, Ladysmith Black Mambazo, P Square, Pupkulies & Rebecca feat Tibau, Stromae... At the moment I'd also go for Sia or Passenger. In literature I like the novels by Mia Couto. I like movies for example by Pedro Almodóvar.
One Amazing Thing I've Done
I was leaving my flat and putting all my belongings in storage. I was left with one bag for the summer. Wow! That was a bit scary first, but very comforting after a few days.

My Interests
I love music, love singing and listening to self-made music of almost any kind. Also, I love unexpected conversations with strangers which make me forget time. I love meeting people who are specialists in fields that are totally strange to me - they can teach me and enrich my perception of the world. I'm interested in all kinds of recycling processes in arts, architecture, construction... I'm fascinated by generous and humble people - they make me speechless.
