Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

After the semester abroad in Eau Claire (end of May 2013) I want to travel around in US and Canada and maybe meet some new people threw couchsurfing. After that I will be back in Austria and could host some nice and friendly people in Graz.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

My friend Eva and I couchsurfed in Istanbul, Turkey, at Adam's red couch. We spent a wonderful time there. =)

We also couchsurfed in Göreme, Turkey, at Kamil's ("THE" touristguide) house.

I am looking forward to make some more wonderful experiences through couchsurfing.

Interests

Several kinds of sports like rock climbing, volleyball, snowboarding, hiking, wakeboarding, running etc. Nature, photography, dancing, music, animals, exploring the world and it's different facets - people - cultures - ways of living; cooking, adventures, new things, unexpected things, ..

Music, Movies, and Books

I like reading books relating to a real story. Also books which inspire me.
I almost like every kind of music, it depends on the mood. Some music fit better in one situation than another. Sometimes you can feel the moment much better when you listen to the right music.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I hitchhiked through South-Eastern Europe this summer. My friend and I explored 6 countries and met many great people. We started at the border of Austria and travelled the whole way only by auto stopping. Every day was unplanned and spontanous, we didn't know what the next day will happen or where we would land, this was one of the best things of the journey. We explored a lot of amazing places, it was an awesome adventure!

With the same friend I did a journey through Turkey this Spring. We couchsurfed in Istanbul and in Göreme, Kapadocia. We also visited the Travertine terrace formations in Pamukkale. We organized the flight to Istanbul and the first three nights in Istanbul. The other things happened spontanously and we had a really great, memorable time in Turkey.
