ABOUT ME

Hi:)
I'm Chris, 22 and just started at Roskilde Universitet i Denmark. After 3 years with work, meeting new people and moving to Copenhagen and traveling to work abroad, I've settled in Copenhagen with my wonderful boyfriend, whom I've been with for 6 years now. But before I got geeky and serious I wanted to see new things and do something I had never done before, travel by myself. So my first destination was Hamburg, Germany. I traveled with a little help from a friend, called workaway.info, where you can get in touch with people who need a hand, all over the world. I worked a few hours a day and in exchange I got a bed and food. Plus new friends, which was the whole point for me. I stayed inside of Europa this time, but I will definitely do workaway again, and then I have to expand to Asia or Oceania or just the whole world!
I loved the way I traveled, because it kept me open minded and I met alot of fun and easygoing people!

I'm the kind of person that can laugh so hard, that my stomach hurts. It's important to me that I laugh a lot every day, that's how I'm feeling alive. I'm very social and not much can make me happier, than if I can enjoy a great cup of coffee, or a really good beer, with fun people.

My new occupation as a student at RUC is an amazing experience! My "house" is filled with 118 awesome and intelligent people and I've made so many new friends. Even though I've just started, I can feel that this is the right thing for me and for the first time i my life I look forward to study like a maniac!;) If someone out there is considering to study in Denmark, then look at RUC (google it}, it is so different than the classic universities, it's all about teamwork and it's interdisciplinary.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've only been to meetings yet, and that has been so much fun. I was 6 weeks in Hamburg (did volunteer work) and didn't know anybody, but through the meetings I met a lot of nice people with whom I still write with.

Intereses

I'm not so intense about my interests, but I like books and movies (thrillers/crime) that have surprising stories and aren't "all Hollywood". And then I've found out that I find origami quite entertaining.
