About Me
Hi, I'm a lifelong traveler, writer, poet, and teacher who's on a journey to see as much of the world as possible. Life itself is a classroom, and I'm always eager to connect with people, exchange ideas, and share stories about "life, the universe, and everything."
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
For any traveler, the best and most enriching experiences abroad come from making real connections to local communities and individuals, rather than seeing places from the limited perspective of a tourist, and the open environment offered by Couchsurfing promises rewarding experiences for hosts and travelers alike.
Interests
In addition to teaching college English, I enjoy reading quirky science fiction and fantasy novels, writing poetry, and sculpting figurines, faces, and landscapes from polymer clay. My outdoor interests include camping, canoeing, kayaking, and wandering through the world's great cities.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Between traveling independently in various countries, I have taught college English classes for United States Navy Sailors aboard deployed ships around the world.
What I Can Share with Hosts
The English language in all its forms is one of my greatest passions, and a mutual language exchange has always been my favorite part of traveling to different countries. With a background and certification in TESL, I'd be happy to give informal language lessons or to provide good practice for anyone interested in polishing their English skills at any level!
As a polymer clay artist, I also carry a variety of sculpting materials with me on my travels and would be happy to pass along some fun sculpting tips for anyone interested in playing with clay! :-)
