Hi! So, I've kind of been struggling these past few years... life had begun to feel somewhat mundane. I wasn't sure if it was my job, or my city or even me so I decided that I needed to make a big change. In January, I made the decision that I was going to pack up all my things, put them in storage and travel for the next year or so to clear my head! The plan is to be based in Berlin and travel around Europe (and maybe Asia too!). So who is Christine, you ask? I'm a graphic designer, 34 (turning 35 this year.... Ahhhh!), I'm from Montreal so I speak English and French fluently, I love travelling, meeting new people, trying new things (activities, food, customs, you name it!). I'm a pretty chill person, easy-going and I'd say I'm something of an optimist. :)

Why I'm on Couchsurfing
This trip to Europe is going to be my first big trip alone. I've never been to Germany, I don't know anyone there, I don't know the language (although I am learning), and I admit I'm pretty freaked out. I know from other friends who have done couchsurfing that there's tons of awesome people to makes friends with and who will show you the ropes in a new city.
My Interests
I love art, I'd say I'm pretty crafty, I paint & I draw. I love being out and about, walking, biking, horseback riding. I like camping and hiking too.
