I am currently working on a Japanese style rock garden, and having a blast. I do yoga and am studying Tai Chi. I work in my shop intermittently.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I rode the Alcan Highway with my wife in 1977 on a 550 Honda - when it was still dirt. It rained all of the 9 days we were on it. That was our Honeymoon. We did it again for our 25th anniversary.Just completed a 3 week motorcycle adventure in India on Royal Enfields.

Teach, Learn, Share

I have 30 years of experience as a custom furniture builder. I especially like working with fine quality Japanese hand tools. I would really enjoy teaching anyone interested in working with tools.
I sharpen knives too and can teach that.
I'd like to learn how to travel fearlessly in other cultures. I've been to Europe but not much else.
