My fiance (soon to be wife) and I are doing some extensive traveling for our honeymoon. The love of travel and volunteer work are two things that brought us together, and we can't wait to start our marriage off doing the things we love. Friends would describe us as adventurous and loving the outdoors, and never staying in the same place for very long. Day trips are a common occurrence for us, and we would love to share some of our stories (and a beer or glass of wine) with you.

我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

Besides the free couch (thanks in advance!), we are wanting to couchsurf so that we can experience real life in different countries. Hostels and hotels are great, but they do not offer the same exposure to the people and the culture of the places we are visiting. So what better way could there be to explore a new place than couchsurfing?! Plus, it comes highly recommended, and we look forward to sharing hospitality with future guests in our home.

We are interested in lots of things, and always up for learning something new. We like to travel, volunteer, hike, play table tennis, read, run, bike, sports and maybe some more travel! We love Africa, and sometimes find ourselves playing quizzing games about Africa (dorks I know!). But we are very down to earth people, and simply enjoy meeting new people and exploring new places.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

I've walked the Great Wall of China. Sarah has hiked Mt. Kilimanjaro. We have both been skydiving. But I would say one amazing thing I've done is propose to Sarah on a wine farm in Cape Town, South Africa. Such a perfect memory!
