Overview
About Me
I'm a first year medical student at UC Davis School of Medicine. I hope to become a physician someday!
I'm also an internationally known origami artist. I've taught and displayed origami in San Francisco, New York, Seoul, and Tokyo, and have also been featured on the front cover of British Origami Society Magazine. My (outdated) website: chrisitoh.com
I'm also a great cook, and I love to learn to cook. I've been first place in a BBQ Contest, as well as a school dessert competition.
I occasionally play the violin, and recently performed at the Robert Mondavi Concert Hall in a band.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
It has been a life long dream to visit Europe, specifically, London, Paris, and Rome.
London, because my grandfather was a British-influenced Japanese, and frequently visited London.
Paris, because of the food. I frequently make French-inspired food.
Rome, because of the art. When I was little, I was influenced by Leonardo da Vinci to pursue both science AND art, hence why I'm in medicine.
Interests
My interests are in the arts and science. I enjoy museums and tours, and being active in learning something new.
