About Me

CURRENT MISSION
To clear the list before the bucket corrodes. :P

ABOUT ME

Whasuuuup friends! So it's like this, I'm tired of the polar (or bi-polar) nature of politics in this country. I've also been caged here for far too long. My longest stretch without crossing a border somewhere. So I'm donating all my possessions, and heading out with my twin sister, to parts unknown. Our first stop is Buenos Aires, for some awesome little empanadas :)
Here's me: I'm a guy who doesn't sit still, and definitely not the typical tourist type who likes to do the castle, monument and cathedral thing. I'm a lot happier sitting around a pub, cafe, beach bar, or fire-pit, chillin' with random "local" people, or hanging out in some natural environment. I was a barman long before I got into IT, so I am considered to be a really super conversationalist and can bullshit with the best. I'm a music freak, mostly in an electronic phase now, love experiencing great social and local food and drinks culture. Almost everyone in my crew is under 35ish, so I'm constantly moving in the club, coffee-house, arts and theater venues. I love boarding, but a couple of accidents took me out of the scene, so I'm not quite as physically active as you are. I guess, in a nutshell, I just hate being around people who seem okay with wasting any precious moment of life. The day I die will be the day I have nothing new to learn or experience.

PHILOSOPHY

Tough question... No matter what life throws at you, good or evil, you get up, deal with it, and keep moving on. Never look back. There's just too much to see of this world, too much to experience, to sit still, and die motionless.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I've officially and unofficially hosted an awesome number of you amazingly crazy, cool, individual, positive people as possible. (over 200+ people so far)
Looking forward to surfing again myself in the near future.

Interests

...hmmm, well, I love great food, and cook extensively. I listen to all genres of tunes, and attend quite a few concerts, gallery shows, and festivals. Reading and creative tasks, are always of interest. Currently writing my first literary piece. I get along superbly with a fine bottle of red, a great brew, or unusual spirits. I am a consumer of fine herbs. I'm naturally sarcastic, and somehow make people laugh without really knowing why. I am a truly aesthetic right-lobe guy.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

1. Hosted over 200+ fantastically cool people so far! You're ALL amazing!

Okay, one thing...

Survived a trans-Atlantic crossing (Gulf of Mexico to Ireland) on a small private boat, during a hurricane and multiple tropical storms...without navigation equipment!

Teach, Learn, Share

It's all about common, mutual respect!
We can all enlighten each other.
"Sharing is caring" (I know it's cliche')

What I Can Share with Hosts

All I have to offer is myself, and all of the craziness that implies. Anything that I can do to aid or assist in making life easier for others is the bottom line. Realistically, I can cook, mix a drink, roll one, write, chauffeur, do guide service, give out a few hugs, or anything that will enhance your day! :)
