About Me

CURRENT MISSION

building community one ukulele at a time

ABOUT ME

If you've never played a musical instrument and have always wanted to...I can teach you how to play the ukulele in 1 little hour. I'll even bring the ukulele for you to play on. I would love it if you can find me an open mic night near you.I love people, places and music. I don't know any "strangers". I've been a children's entertainer/singer-songwriter for 30 yrs. NO TV, eat healthy, love biking, skiing, hiking, backpacking, boating and LIFE. I'm always looking to meet new interesting people. I'm a morning person and love good coffee. A nice red wine in the evening while playing guitar, harmonica, ukulele and hopefully, with others.

PHILOSOPHY

If you see someone without a smile, give them one of yours. I always carry a pocketful of smiles to hand out. Life is a rich canvas of many colors. I try to live each day fully present.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I participate in life by embracing all people...at least those who are friendly and trustworthy.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Have never been on "couchsurfing.com" but have spent lots of time in homes with people I didn't know. A wonderful experience. A great way to get to know the area and the people. Very family oriented.

Music, Movies, and Books

Folk music, indie pop, classical, blues and jazz, etc. Self-help books and autobiographies of strong women...making a difference. I tend to be a "rockabilly" kid of gal. Check out my website @ cinda1.com and Mt. Hood Ukulele Academy.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Working as a clown for 30 yrs. which opened my eyes to clowning for the blind, deaf, poverty, dying...not to mention the parties and foreign countries I performed in.

Teach, Learn, Share

I'm able to show people around this area. Beautiful Mt. Hood Oregon. I'll teach non-musicians the ukulele and introduce them to more people in the community if they wish.
