Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I would like to get to know more countries and their people with their culture, food, habits and traditions. There was a time when I went to a country and after leaving it I actually had the impression that I didn't get to know it, because I haven't spoken that much with the people. I don't like the idea anymore to visit a country so that I just can check it on a list, I want to experience it. So I think Couchsurfing is ideal to get to know for sure the people showing their country and explaning some things that may be new for me.
