CURRENT MISSION
Finding inspirations //
Learning Russian and Turkish
I came back from my year abroad, that brought me to Petrozavodsk, Ankara and then Samara, jumping between Russia and Turkey. These two countries stole my heart in different ways and learning their languages is a way to keep them close to me.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
To share experiences and stories and help surfers.
I have a strong will to find language exchanges (Turkish/Russian). My Russian is better than my Turkish, though.

Music, Movies, and Books
Music: whatever, but all the time on. Progressive Rock helped me growing up //
Movies: Rope by Alfred Hitchcock is my movie manifesto. Director of trust may be Werner Herzog and Roman Polanski. Romanian new wave enthusiast - in love with Cristina Mungiu. The taste of cherry by Abbas Kiarostami is an enchanting movie.//
Books: 'The words' by Jean-Paul Sartre, various books by Saul Bellow and every year I read a book by Milan Kundera. Emil Cioran addicted. Genres: short stories, bildungsroman, diaries.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Reached Rasinari village (where Emil Cioran was born!) thanks to Couchsurfing.
Recently a bear crossed my way in Northern Russia)
Last minute driving from Mardin to Gaziantep and back (400km one way) just to taste Baklava from its source (definitely worth it!)
