About Me
Hi there ! I'm Clem, 22 multicultural Eurasian who just finished studying at a very prestige arts and design university in London, in need of a mental break. Which is why i'm doing this 8 months world trip, starting off in Australia and New Zealand !
I grew up in Vietnam, I was born in France and I moved to London to study contemporary jewellery design a few years ago. Whoever you are reading this right now, I hope you're having a lovely day !
(Please note: I can't host before summer 2017 (mid august) as I'm away visiting other countries !)
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Because I want to make awesome new friends and what better way to do it ?
Also, because I've decided to make this trip a truth-seeking-what-is-my-mission-on-this-planet sort of trip - where I want to keep it as money-less as possible as I don't value the greediness and manipulation that comes with money. Life is about sharing and prospering whilst expanding.
And finally because adventure begins at the end of your comfort zone, here's to trying something new.

Music, Movies, and Books
Music taste varies from Debussy to ABBA to Louis Amstrong to Bon Iver to Muse to Tycho so that's a hard one.
Book wise, I'm currently finishing "His Dark Materials" by Philip Pullman and "Strength to Love" By Martin Luther King Jr. And I'm about to start "Frequency" by Penney Peirce.
Movie wise, there's a lot I need to catch up on. Most heard sentence from friends is: "wait... you've never seen this !??". truth.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Went from dreaming about travelling after uni to actually doing it and booking my tickets !
Teach, Learn, Share
One important lesson I was taught, I learnt and would like to share is how important I think it is to feel everything that comes up. Bypassing your emotions isn't self care. Forcing happiness isn't sustainable. The most loving thing you can do for yourself is to slow down and be present for what you're feeling without judging the process, because it is entirely your own. We're human beings and some days the human is more present than the being.
What I Can Share with Hosts
My positive energy, my experiences and life-lessons, some funny stories from back home but most importantly, a present moment with you.
I can also share other skills such as in cooking you a vietnamese or french dish, or teaching you contemporary jewellery design or social media or French if that's what you wish (it'd be my pleasure) !
A meditation or yoga session goes without saying.
