Since relocating to New England from the Midwest, I have enjoyed exploring the numerous peaks among the Appalachians. Tested Darwinism by driving five hours in whiteout blizzard conditions to Mt. Bohemia, Michigan's Mad River Glen in the UP. Spent opening weekend lapping glades in waist-deep powder (December 2017) .
