Overview
About Me
I’m a country kid from the northwestern United States. I love nature, animals, and exploring. You can usually find me talking about food, history, or music (along with other topics) at a cafe or bar with new friends. I’m pretty easy going, love to converse with new friends, and learn about things I’ve never had the chance to know about. I’m a food lover, a cinefile, and language enthusiast. I’ve lived in a few different countries for brief amounts of time, but loved every minute. I’m open to discussing anything and everything with people from all walks of life. So, send me a message or let’s meet up for an adventure!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I was skeptical but a good friend and teacher of mine recommended it to me. I love really experiencing new cultures and meeting locals (not just other tourists-not that they’re bad, but sometimes a bit superficial). Plus I wouldn’t have loads of time to spend so knowing someone from the places I want to see will help me enjoy and fall in love with their country and culture too. Also, when I’m back home, I want to share my home and culture too!
Interests
My life motto would be to try everything once ( as long as it won’t kill me). Sports playing and watching (my favorite is volleyball). Talking and discussion life with drinks be it coffee, wine, or beer. Cooking. History. Travel. Art. Making friends. Practicing languages.

Music, Movies, and Books
Everything especially live. Preferably jazz, big band swing, regional music, reggaeton, pop, folk, funk, rock, and on...
Books: Harry Potter series, Alex Rider series, WW2, history in general, food history, biographies, and the little prince.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I studied abroad in Amman Jordan and traveled the Middle East(?)
Teach, Learn, Share
Improve my language skills or help others with English. I’m always down to hike, explore, sightsee, etc. I have some random skills that range from calligraphy to bike maintenance.
What I Can Share with Hosts
Lots of funny travel travel stories, English help (Spanish or Portuguese too), cooking skills (middle eastern food,American classics, and some Asian foods that I grew up eating or learned from friends). I’m cleanly and don’t mind helping out when necessary. I love to hear new perspectives especially through a local’s eyes.
