About Me

I live with one other person and study at the University of Stirling. Im afraid that I'm a dirty smoker and enjoy the odd cigarette. Anyone passing through Stirling is welcome to come and spend a day or two and if your lucky you may even get to sleep in a bed if me or my flatmate are out!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Im on couchsurfing as it is an extraordinary mechanism that can be used to find and meet people from all over the world. The ability to be able to sleep in almost every city in the world for free is a fantastic opportunity and through having this profile I will enable myself to become more aware of other cultures, languages and have the opportunity to meet lots of interesting people!

Music, Movies, and Books

I enjoy almost all music with very few genres being excluded, although I am also aware that that is a non answer. My recent favorite has been Spanish, Latin, funk and a few other exciting genres ;) I am currently reading through the adventures of huckleberry fin by Mark Twain but will be moving on to The girl with the Dragon Tattoo so make of that what you will ;) I watch a lot of different movies but have recently fell out with Hollywood and am trying to watch more European movies with countries like Denmark, Sweden, Germany and France producing some absolutely incredible films. I have played violin and piano for 13 and 15 years respectively but stopped both for a 2 years. I have recently started picking up my violin again and am attempting to recover some of my previous skill. Unfortunately there is no piano to play in Stirling so have not had the opportunity to play.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I dont know about amazing but for me it was incredibly exciting. I went WWOOFING for 3 months in Portugal on my own last summer. During this time I met incredible people and spent a lot of time hitchhiking from town to town, sleeping on beaches and trying to experience the local culture as best I could. I learned a lot from the two farms I stayed and worked on during my time and would highly recommend it to everyone.

Countries I’ve Visited

Belgium, France, Germany, Netherlands, Portugal, Spain
