ABOUT ME

Born in Penang Island, Pearl of Orient in Malaysia, a beautiful island with great sandy beaches. I love Penang so much that I will live and die there :)

Studied in a catholic school since primary and secondary school but just like any other Malaysian, I don't find it difficult speaking in english although I may have difficulty in speaking Malay since I haven't been using for a very long time now.

I love nature, I like outings such as waterfalls, trekking and forest walking to the mild ones like chatting, relaxing on a sunny day, lazing, chats and even sleeping. I'm a quiet guy and prefer music and sounds of nature with some country songs.

I'm pretty active in sports such as running and cycling. I do 1/2 marathons, duathlon, running, swimming and table tennis too although I'm a little rusty right now. I'm ready to learn new stuffs but I'm bad at making jokes. I'm too rational at times too.

My motivation is to travel around the world, meet all kinds of people, treasure every single experience and feelings with all walks of life and most of all, treasure the memories I had with everyone.

My motto is to lead a life I will never regret. It stays the same till now and will continue to be so :)

PHILOSOPHY

Live your life like everyday is the last. Trying to do it isn't good enough. Life is not just about work, sleep, eat and work. There are so many things to learn and yet we haven't have the time on earth to learn them all. So, what we can do is to experience as much as we can while we're still alive! Just Do It!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Most of the time I'm not around as I'm travelling far away for work and even if i come back, it'll just be a short duration. Most of the time at outstation so I may not host you for last minute couch and sorry for that. Hope you understand that I may not have access to internet all the time.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Well, i didn't really slept on anyone's couch before except for public couches lol. But I'd surfed some friendly people and i hope to continue allowing people to surf my place as long as they are clean, cool, and friendly people. 2 nights at most and usually on weekends because I will want to find time to bring you around rather than let you roam around aimlessly but that is when I'm available that is.

Interests

I like animals. I have a dog name Whiskey and he is a cool golden retriever. At times a bit dumb but that's his nature because he is the most friendly dog in the neighbourhood :) He doesn't come into the house as I do not permit pet entry into the house. House rule.

I do sports, running, cycling, swimming, marathons, triathlon, trying to participate in ironman ... hopefully before i'm filling my stomach with tons of food.

I like listening to music of course. Music, songs, sounds of nature, ... imagine water driplets and soothing flutes... that's my kind. But hey, I do breakdancing and end up in hospital for a shoulder bankart surgery. So I do love hip hop to a certain extend that is still considered music :)

Music, Movies, and Books

Musics, sound of natures, flutes, country songs, guitars, pianos, love songs, fantasy books "The magician" is my all time favourite, "Shrek" my favourite cartoon, chinese songs, korean songs, japanese songs, japanese culture, chinese literature, ... too many.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Seriously, I have yet to make any great achievement. The one achievement that i'm about to make now is very big and it takes me a lot of courage ... which is to step out from my comfort zone and start living a life.

Teach, Learn, Share

I know reasonably lot about computers, scriptings, ( my study field ) and i'm trying to pickup cooking and photography. Perhaps, you could teach me some of those above? I'm ready with all ears and eyes to pick up what you have in your list for me :)

Travelling experience is what I'm seeking to learn and I will share my Malaysian culture ( as a malaysian chinese ) and my language ... though I speak english more often than any other.
