Overview
About Me
Nomadic, more or less. (Well, way more than less). A sucker for remarkable scenery and genuine beings who live in harmony with each other and their surroundings. Vegan and somewhat crafty. Quite particular about my lifestyle. I prefer to spend mornings in silence :)
Silly things and pretty things make me smile and so do big bodies of water, silence, singing, creative expression, etc., etc.
I spend a lot of time by myself.
Oh, and my name is Rachel, not Rainbow :)
Attempting to avoid unnecessary geographical motion and seeking friendship, community, music, art, mystical experiences, flavours, colours, fragrances, touches and whatnot to help me enjoy, well, this.
PHILOSOPHY
Truth.
Love.
Create your own reality.
Life is but a dream.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I spent many beautiful years couchsurfing, and think I’m finished for the time being, but you never know :) Most of this profile was written in 2012…
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
More often than not without home (the physical structure, that is).
Happy to host buena onda when I have one.
Appreciative of yours when I don't.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
Years.
[Let it be noted: I'm allergic to furry animals and have a strong aversion to touching/smelling chemicals. Sometimes being around meat disgusts me. I need quiet time in the morning... we ALL benefit from quiet time in the morning...]

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Followed a napkin-map drawn by an old man who I met at a bar that directed me to drive to a tiny town on the California coast, jump a fence, walk through a cemetary, look for a big hole in the ground, and lower myself into the hole using a rope tied to a tree for a view of the ocean.
It was beautiful.
Teach, Learn, Share
I teach yoga and meditation, shoot light beams out of my fingertips and could talk your face off about specialty coffee or cacao...
Looking to learn some macramé and songs to sing and play in Spanish. Or anything, really.
Really, I would be happy to teach you anything I know and would be happy to learn anything you would teach me.
