ABOUT ME

As a kid I hitch hiked endlessly. I rode freight trains. I traveled with rocks and books in my backpack. I never liked driving much and never held down a job long enough to afford a car anyway. Eventually i settled down. Fell in love, got a cat. Became increasingly interested in sustainability and community. Now I want to move away from my beloved north west. Mix it up a bit. I want to travel in new ways, without completely sacrificing my safety and comfort. I want to go to new towns already knowing a few good people. About me? I am easy going, kind, responsible and respectful.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I lived in the central district of Seattle for ten years. My home was kind of a party house/ punk house/ community space so I always had lots of guests. Now I live in the outskirts of the the not so hip town of Sumner and it is lonely. If you need a place to stay I will roll out the red carpet.
If I am coming to you for a place to stay know that i will do my best to be a good guest. help out with projects if you desire (have some handyman skills) or make you dinner or something. I get along well with pets and kids but I am not traveling with any. I don't smoke.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have both been a guest and had many guests but I am new to the internet experience of CS.
