Overview
About Me
I'm a calm, reliable and humourous person and have been living in Hamburg for over 13 years now and work. I work part-time as an engineer in the shipping industry and in the remaining time I study Product Design, which I picked up this year.
I have a lot of interests, which also means I'm never truly good at anything :)
In my free time I enjoy a variety of sports such as cycling, running and bouldering. I also like reading, taking care of my plants, design & architecture, languages, traveling by train and hanging out on the streets or in not-too-fancy bars.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
So far I have used CS mostly for getting to know people while travelling solo using hangouts or by going to weekly get-togethers.
I have also hosted and been hosted, both were great experiences and I'm open to doing more of both.

Music, Movies, and Books
I listen to all kinds of music, mostly electronic stuff such as House, Techno, DnB, Trap, Chillout but sometimes also Indie, Rock, Reggae, Bossa Nova, Jazz and HipHop.
I read regularly but I'm not that much into movies. Classic movies yes but I don't follow the latest cinema stuff.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Maybe not that incredible but I have been bikepacking alone through Tuscany for a week 🤷♂️
Teach, Learn, Share
I started learning Italian in 2020 and am progressing slowly but steadily. Currently on level B2 and happy for any conversation in Italian.
Apart from that, I can offer a safe spot for bikes and give tips on where to cycle in the region.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I can teach you some German if you are interested. My friends say I'm good at cooking, mostly Italian recipes.
If you like indoor (rock) climbing, I can point you to some places, or we can just go there together.
We can also participate in the local critical mass (collective bike riding on the streets, every last Friday of the month, year-round), I can lend you a bike if needed.
I would enjoy spending a bit of time with the people who I host or who I get hosted by. Doesn't have to be 100% of the time of course, non worries :)
