Overview
About Me
Others would say about me (I guess;) ):
nice, easy-going, polite, respectful, careful, helpful, independent soul, has many and some 'exotic' interests, is always well prepared and organized, enjoys a good chat more than a party
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
My travel career started at the age of 12 when I went on 3 weeks holiday without my parents and then at the age 15 with my first school exchange programme to Hungary. I got hooked then.
It is no longer than 3 years in a row that I can stay in one place... after that I have to go travelling. I have done all kinds of traveling, had an CS account years ago, but lost my log-in details altogether... so this is a fresh new start.
Interests
Nature ... being outdoors (hiking, cycling, skiing, swimming, just relaxing and taking in all the beauty; staying in a city for a longer while drives me nuts), observing, looking after or simply cuddling animals, and I prefer winter over summer, north over south
Languages ... the more exotic the more interesting;) I would love to be able to spend more time in learning and figuring out how all those languages function ... but it is like with humans, some languages are better "friends" to me than others.
Body and mind - psychology, spirituality, teaching and learning, (alternative) medicine, communicating, food and eating (being a vegetarian)
Creativity - I find more and more love in being creative... taking and modifying pictures, writing, painting and drawing, doing nice things with natural material (stones, leaves etc)

Music, Movies, and Books
Music - quite diverse: from (hard) rock, indie/alternative, to tibetan cantations
Movies - I got rid of my TV long time ago.... but enjoy a good DVD once in a while... all time favourite: fierce animals (by the Monty Python crew), gloomy sunday, whale rider
Books - hmmm many:) it is better to say what I do not read: thrillers, fantasy, sci-fi, crime novels
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Only one?:) Among my travel stories are of course many amazing things... but ok I pick something else then...
I volunteered as a dog handler and was working at two different husky farms in Germany and one in Norway. I learned a lot and got so many insights in this job/hobby/passion. I am still trying to fit the Husky part into my "life puzzle", though.
Teach, Learn, Share
I can teach e.g. German (but also some basics of other languages: English, Norwegian, French, Sign Language).
Since recently I am also a Yoga Teacher, so I can give you Yoga or Meditation lesson.
I am always interested in learning new things... I also like to help with any work that is there (e.g. on a farm).
What I Can Share with Hosts
