My name is Cornelia. After receiving my PhD last summer, I started a journey through Central and South America. I have been traveling for more than 11 months now and am currently staying in Argentina. Since I am traveling and do not have my own place, I cannot host people, but I will be open to hosting wherever I end up living for my postdoc!

I would describe myself as a rather extreme person; I like to do things properly or not at all. I have found that if I am not passionate about something, I become unhappy and frustrated. I see life as a challenge, in both the positive and the negative sense. But I do think that most challenges make us stronger and help us grow personally. I am passionate about my research. I like to travel and explore how people live in other countries. I am a vegetarian and long-distance runner. I like to be outdoors and am particularly fond of the mountains and cold winters with lots of snow. I love fresh fruits and vegetables, green tea and chocolate. I mostly listen to alternative and folk music.
