About Me

After my solo motorcycle trip around Europe, I ended up in spain. It was and still is a journey of self discovery, and reflection; an exploration of different but parallel worlds; in search of life's meaning. Looking forward to meeting people and getting to know more about each country through the eyes of locals.

Taking things day by day, living in the moment, thus not trying to plan too far ahead. Such beautiful feeling, especially when everything falls into place! Even the "bad" or "negative" experiences always include a lesson to be learnt, so a positive outcome in the long run. It all depends on how you see or want to see things!

Love nature's silence, actively getting lost, discovering little known paradises, remaining speechless with earths treasures!

Recently came across this quote which truly spoke to me: "Stay wild. Trojan horseplay. Run on your own and run with the pack. Radical inclusivity. Love aliens, hate alienation. Radical accessibility. The group is a form of drag (let others set you free from yourself). The establishment can't catch you - shift shape whenever they get too close. Cuckoo to mistletoe to crocodile-bird. Learn from diverse organisms living in close association. Overshare. You are one in ten billion (and that's just the number of organisms disco dancing in a handful of ashes). Optimistic nihilism. Anarcho-comedy. Laughtivism. Disguise yourself as something familiar but be careful not to recreate the state you left behind. Make sure your name is omni-barrelled and you change it every day." - Louise Ashcroft

I believe life is simpler than what we make of it. At the same time, the world is not as bad as we tend to make of it. People are loving and open hearted. We can have faith in humanity and trust the goodness of each person. During my travels this far I have realised that stereotypes are nothing but old prejudice of close-minded people.... I can state this with certainty as I used to be one of them!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Having now met several people through CS, I have to admit that this experience has really opened my mind and has taught me so much. I got to know some really beautiful people and even managed to become friends with some.
Just for that I'm so grateful for CS.
I also think it's pretty amazing to get to meet locals and learn about their city and country.
Aside from the above, it's also a good way to travel on a low budget.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Started living!

Teach, Learn, Share

I don't like the word "teach" so through conversation I hope to push you in realising your dreams, listening to your gut and following your heart.

I try to learn and experience as much as I possibly can. So I would definitely like to learn about you country's history, cuisine, culture etc. More importantly though, I've recently discovered that I'm able to learn something new and grow as a person with every person I meet.

I can share laughs, stories from life and travels. Share drinks and food...most importantly, lifetime experiences!

What I Can Share with Hosts

Always ready to offer a helping hand. I'm pretty easy going and respectful of other people and their homes!
