Music, Movies, and Books
Movies.. Just anything funny.. if its cute, that's a plus!
Music.. So many likes I don't even know where to begin. Angus and Julia Stone, The Lumineers, Dope Lemon, Pink Floyd, Tame Impala, The Beatles, ... to name a few.
Books... My favorite and most impactful was the tiny book called Making Space, about incorporating meditation into daily activities.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Aw! There are so many amazing things in my life I'm not sure which to share! I guess I'll share my first big travel experience. I was just a little 17 year old and ready to get out into the world when I decided to finish a few extra courses by the end of the term so I could graduate early. I have 5 weeks for do this and boy was I determined. I spend about 12-14 hours a day working on school just to get everything done and I did it! I graduated just a few days before my 18th birthday and knew I had to do something super cool since I wasn't going to be in school like all the other kids my age. This is how I truly began solo traveling. After a bit of research and a lot of inspiration, I booked a flight to Australia about 4 weeks out. I had just a few weeks to come up with a lot of money (not need to disclose how much!) I worked just as hard to pay for my trip as I did to finish school. Before I knew it, I was discovering the disorienting state of jet-lag, trying to find my way through Sydney and heading off to surf camp. The next 2 months I spent soaking up the sun, playing in the waves and meeting so many amazing people from all over the world! It truly was the definition of amazing!
Teach, Learn, Share
Truly is a lesson in ALL you do! It's always easy to forget that, but when we make it a point to remember, the knowledge we gain, brings forth true ease along life's journeys.
