ABOUT ME

TJ grew up as a military kid and lived all over the US, eventually ending up in Atlanta. Courtney spent almost her whole life in Atlanta. In 2009, we moved up to Raleigh and decided to lay down some roots here. We've got two sweet dogs who are in good hands while we are away, but we miss them terribly.

Right now, we're taking a break from our Corporate lives and striking out to see the world. Courtney used to be a consultant; TJ was a marketer. Now we're just happy to be exploring on our own schedule.

PHILOSOPHY

We both believe in treating everyone like we would want to be treated. Any personal choices you make are your own.

We're just starting out with CS, so we're trying to feel things out.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Haven't had any yet, but we look forward to our first!

The closest thing we've had to an experience so far was meeting a few surfers in Australia, who couldn't say enough good things about the organization. It's taken a few years, but we're finally deciding to try it for ourselves!

兴趣

We love being outside with our pups, whether its a camping or playing at the dog park. We also enjoy a good comedy club and frozen yogurt at our favorite dessert places.

Mostly, we like experiencing the culture of wherever we happen to be at that moment, whether it's in our own town or someone else's. If that means an interesting local fair is going on, or a local knows some hole-in-the-wall we should check out, we're there!

We love to cook, especially trying new recipes. It doesn't always turn out the way we expect, but it usually makes a great meal either way!

Together, we have been learning the ins and outs of home renovation as we tackle small and large projects around our house. We'll be happy to lend a hand if you're in the middle of your own home improvements!
