About Me
CURRENT MISSION
To Be...Wherever I am living or traveling, my goal is to be present and experience all that I can in that place and time.
ABOUT ME
I am a fun, down to earth, Nomad at heart. I love the city I am from, but have a hard time staying in one place. I was very excited to come across a program at BCIT that will hopefully allow me to have a career so to speak that will include my passions. It is renewable resources-fish, wildlife, and recreation. I am hoping to start next September and be able to use my new knowledge to protect and rebuild our environment, and incorporate travel at the same time.
PHILOSOPHY
"any missadventure creates new adventure, it's in the eye of the beholder"
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
This is my first time to the site, hopefully will get to try it in NZ
Interests
hmmm...I try and take an interest in everything. But if I had to choose. I love to travel, I am active and love hiking, kayaking, meeting new people, roadtrips with my friends. I like reading, and making stained glass. Gardening is a big passion of mine, I also love to cook, especially if I can cook using ingrediants from my garden. The list is endless, I will stop here.

Music, Movies, and Books
The way of the Peaceful Warrior by Dan Millman is my all time favorite book. I love to read, so I won't list all of my favorites. I love well written stories, true stories, auto biographies, and the list goes on...I listen to just about anything, I grew up on Rock, but have had country phases, techno, and right now am into folk/rock. As for movies, I prefer Film Festival movies, sub-titles, documentery. There is something, however, to be said for lounging on a rainy Sunday and watching a brainless hollywood movie
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Oh my, good question. Everything is amazing if you choose to look at it in that way.
Teach, Learn, Share
I was a swimming instructor/coach for 10 years, I can pretty much teach anyone to swim. I would love to learn how to play the harmonica, and learn to juggle.
