About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To live and experience light and live with good people, to share ideas and connect.

ABOUT ME

Lover of life, nature, music, art, food, bicycles. I love to meet new people, share ideas, perspectives and conversation. I'm excited to visit new places, and explore spaces in nature, share stories and relate authentically.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

My former communal house in Halifax has been a home-away-from-home for many travelers throughout the world. We have hosted people from Italy, Peru, England, Canada, USA, Germany, France, and many other countries. I moved to Alberta a few years ago and wanted to have the same shared community in the prairies. Now, living in Vancouver, I want to open our house up once again to the traveler community.

Our collective house of 9 people is a gathering place for friends, family, cyclists, travellers and everyone in between. We have a living room with 2 couches and two floor mats as well as a huge backyard for tents. We are a creative and open-minded LGBTQIA++ community where we share meals, partake in community events, go out for events and shows, learn, laugh and love together.

IMPORTANT! PLEASE READ AND RESPOND TO THIS IN YOUR REQUEST: We get a lot of requests! Although we would love to host everyone, we need to have balance and make sure our house is still a peaceful place for the people who live here. We are looking for people who want to be present and not use our space as a crash pad for for free wifi. Ideally, you want to spend time and get to know the people here and also make time where you live to host travellers. Please do not reach out if you have never hosted someone! These communities work because there is a reciprocal connection. Stay, rest, connect and express gratitude. Reply in your request how you create community at home and how you give back to your community 💜💜

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have met some really amazing people through couchsurfing. Musicians, anarchists, artists, free-thinkers, activists, lovers, haters, and everything in between. I have been host to many couchsurfers, and received so much hospitality while traveling through Europe, Australia, NeewZealand and Asia.

Interests

I absolutely love meeting new people and learning from the experiences and perspectives of others. I am excited to travel to new places and explore different perspectives.
