Why I'm on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING At present, we're principally looking to play host. COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE We're newly signed up for couchsurfing.org, but there are a few experiences from the past that relate, particularly: Some kids showed up at my door looking for a place to stay. There were 14 of them, from the U.K., selling children's books door-to-door for the summer, and their lodging plans had fallen through. I put them up for a week until they could get their situation sorted out, and it was a great experience — a lot of fun, and all the more fun because it was so unexpected.
