Hey guys!
My name is Cris, 31 and I'm from Copacabana Beach (Rio de Janeiro) - Brazil.
Business Management graduated living Rio. I've lived in Dublin-Ireland for one year and I had the time of my life in Europe.
I wanna discover new places, meet new people, learn new cultures and share my culture - brazilians can make really good food and caipirinha haha.
If I'm not reading or watching TV Shows, I'll probably be with friends at the beach or family having a drink and talking about life.
I love music! I don't know how to play any kind of instrument but I really enjoy to listening music - and also dancing! I am friendly, organized and a pet lover! I have 2 beautiful cats at home. I'm very easygoing, I always have a smile on my face and love a good laugh.
PHILOSOPHY
Everybody can teach you something new.
Be yourself and learn from every experience.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
For now, I'm looking for a place to stay when I travel. I hosted some people in my place both in Ireland and Brazil and I loved it! Since I'm back in Brazil, lots of friends who I met doing CS in Europe came to visit me - during carnaval, precisely.
I'm living with my dad and husband at the moment and it's hard to receive surfers on my couch nowadays. However, If someone wants to visit Rio, I can help showing the city or just taking you out for a beer.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I've had some great experiences with Couchsurfing. People have talked with me, interacted with me and shared their stories. We just walked and enjoyed the city (and pubs, parties, museums..). Some of them have cooked for me and bought me beer. That's nice, but it's not vital. I don't do this for what I can get out of it I do this because I like meeting new people and having new experiences. I have truly friends which I've met here from different parts of the world and I'm totally grateful for it.
I did CS in Spain, Ireland, Scotland, Brazil with a friend and it was awesome!

Music, Movies, and Books
Music: I love rock - I went crazy at the System of a Down concert at Rock in Rio 2011 - and again in 2015 - and Pearl Jam at Lollapalooza 2013 as well - brazilian music (mpb), hip-hop, samba, pop, r&b and some electropop. If I could, I'd listen to music all day, everywhere. Music makes me better, increases my energy.
Movies: I love Lord of the Rings and Hunger Games. if you haven't seen it yet, you are missing out! I watch a lot of Tv Shows also. Books: I read a lot! I have no idea of my favorite book, but one of my favorite writers is Taleb.
