About Me
CURRENT MISSION
To seize the day, take opportunities and become fluent in Portugese in 2011 :)
ABOUT ME
Currently I am living in Estonia, doing my Master's Degree in Anthropology. I enjoy learning to understand different cultures, which is why I chose this study course after receiving my Bachelor's degree in International Business. So far, I have lived in six different countries (Germany, USA, Poland, Sweden, Peru, Estonia) and I have found a home in every one of those places. I would like to describe myself as open-minded, fairly easy-going and curious. Of course, there is so much more to tell and I don't really know where to start, so I guess it's best to learn more about me when sitting together over a cup of coffee or a drink. :D
PHILOSOPHY
I like to believe that most things in life happen for a reason and that there is a way to make any dream come true as long as you really want to. And I try to not take life too seriously (although I tend to worry a lot about things but in the end it almost always turns out fine :)).
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
Update 30/01: I had a great time couchsurfing in Stockholm and during that week I got really excited about the whole idea. We met so many great people, cooked together, played board games, went out at night and even got photographed for a newspaper. What more can you asked for as a first couchsurfing experience? :) Thanks to everyone involved!!
None so far... but some time is always the first time and I am looking forward to meeting many people from different countries, learning about their culture and being able to talk about all the good experiences like I could read on so many profiles on CS. :)
Interests
I enjoy learning languages, to travel and to try the languages I learned. ;) I like music (to listen to as well as to make), to dance but also to take the time to read a good book or see a movie (but unfortunately I do that way too seldom nowadays...).

Music, Movies, and Books
Movies: Så som i himmlen, Love Actually, The Ilusionist, Pirates of the Carribean, Heath Ledger Movies (not all but most), and many many more
Music: I LOVE music but mainly Indie Rock & Pop --> The Killers, Shout Out Louds, The Kooks, 30 Seconds To Mars, Meese,... but also some Brit Pop, Rockabilly or Gospel... basically anything that is good to sing along or dance to
Books: right now, when I have time, I like reading the Camilla Läckberg series
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I spent a Highschool year in the United States and lived with a very loving family in Charlotte, North Carolina --> definitely one of the most formative experiences in my life
I went to Peru for two months to learn Spanish, live in a Peruvian family and work in an orphanage --> to quit my job and do this was one of the best decisions I've ever made
Teach, Learn, Share
I like to teach and learn languages - so if you are interested, I could teach you some German...
