ABOUT ME

I teach and I live near the beach, but I love the mountains and miss living out west. I lived in Salt Lake City from 1998 to 2004, and have been here in Florida since 04, teaching and helping to (hopefully) make the world a better, less bitter place.

PHILOSOPHY

Utility is happiness: find a use and you will find joy.

I wish we could breed the greed out of the human race and live more like animals and less like really poor stewards of a really beautiful planet.

I believe ecosystems are more or less mythological places.
