ABOUT ME

Robert & I are avid cyclist, mostly road biking here in the state of Virginia. We both teach cycling classes. I work as a Registered nurse in Labor & delivery, & part time fitness instructor. Robert owns a engineering consulting firm here in Richmond. He is also a cycle instructor. We do a lot of traveling, & love to try different wines where ever we go. We have 4 grown children that do not live at home. Currently expecting our first grand child. I'm 48, Robert is 52, & our kids can't keep up with us. We like to sleep in on Sundays! (which is 8am for us)

Just do it! Don't let anyone tell you , you can't. Don't let anyone hold you back from what you love doing the most.

We are participating by offering our home as a rest stop for travelers. We love meeting interesting people.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

We have only had 1 experience so far...my niece & her friend are cycling up the east coast from Florida, in 100 degree weather, back home to Columbus, & stopped here in Richmond, they spent 1.5 days here, they were the ones that told us about CS, so here we are!

Interests

cycling, running, traveling! music, we love all kinds of music, like to go to live music venues. Currently training for the Rock & ROll 1/2 Marathon in Virginia beach.

Music, Movies, and Books

Any kind of music, not a fan of Opera though. We love to read, currently just finished "Unbroken" couldn't put it down! Robert reads books about quantum physics! YUK! We love comedies, comedy clubs.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

My husband & I would both agree, that our most amazing story, is just meeting each other. Everyone is looking for what we've found, but for some people it never comes around. We've been married 4 yrs, it's been the best 4 yrs of our lives. We have lots of travel stories, so being able to see the world with the one you love the most, is amazing!!
