My name is Cynthia and I just moved to Austin, Texas. I currently work as a sales account executive at a major tech company, but I mostly have a background as a technical project manager and scrum master. I have worked for a variety of different Silicon Valley companies like Tesla, IBM, and Yahoo. I have also ran several large meetup groups, events, and conferences as well. I am a big planner. I love facilitating events and hosting, but I also enjoy networking with others as well. On my free time, I occasionally like to check out meetups, read manga, or go to a cool and new bar, or check out a sushi or ethnic restaurant. I also love to cook and draw whenever I have the time as well. I am new to Couchsurfing but I am not new to hosting. As I take on the role of being one of the few females hosting guests on here in ATX, I please ask for others to at least share about themselves, their careers, and what brings them to Austin, Texas. Why I'm on Couchsurfing
I just created this profile in August 2024 so I’m new. I’m on Couchsurfing since I’m finally trying to do what I have always wanted to do, and that is traveling. I have always wanted to make time to do it and I am trying to do that more often. I believe in the power of giving back. In the past, I have also used Couchsurfing to visit friends and family members in both Houston and Austin. And I am now giving back and letting others sleep on my couch as well.....

Teach, Learn, Share
I am learning Spanish, French, and computer programming languages. I can share knowledge on music, culture, and how to cook authentic ethnic dishes. I can teach how to speak English, how to cook, or etc.
What I Can Share With Hosts
I would love to become friends with my hosts. Ideally, exchange stories with them and go out to restaurants or excursions together. I can also cook and help clean in exchange of hosting me.
My Interests
I love watching movies, cooking, and reading manga. I am also really into socializing, teaching myself how to code or the latest cert, and going out to fun alternative bars/restaurants.
