Hey! I'm Cyril, I'm a french architecture student, and I need to discover the world!
See and understand the world around me, visit cities of all kinds and countrysides of any sort, by the eyes of the inhabitants.
I don't have great skill to speak other languages (french reputation confirmed!), but I really want to improve myself to be able to meet people and share good times and knowledge wherever I can go, or with anyone who wants to come!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Travelling when I can and meet people. Receive people when my roometes are ok, but share ar first.

I'm here for the possibilities of meetings between different people from all horizons.

I think we can found kindness and goodness every where.

But firstly, it's because I need to take a breath outside and find fantastic moment!

Music, Movies, and Books

MUSIC (we want to dance!)

I like a lot of music, if it's a concert, a festival a party or whatever, i like to move (i don't know if we can call that dancing). I was raised in rock'n'roll, blues, jazz and music from 60 'to 80', with a good dose of world music and popular french music. From Janis Joplin or Chuck Berry to Rokia Traore and Gilberto Gill via Barbara or Serge Gainsbourg.
I have a little favoritism for Jazz, old or new.
Currently, i like to listen new electro sound, or some specific Dj or music mix.
And I like to go to concert or festival for discover new artist

MOVIES (we want to see!)

I go almost as much to the theater as to the cinema, I like weird things or "author film", but a good comedy or drama always good!
Last thing i've see and i enjoyed... i don't rember yet, I'll tell you later.

BOOKS (we want to read!)

I read a lot of architecture specialized book (thought, theories, concept, and process) but when i want to get outside ouf it, I like Fantasy (particularly Robin Hobb) and SF (Orwell, Huxley...), travel books, and some time, one or two novel, some poetry.
I always have a book not far from me.

I know that I know nothing, so what can I Teach? I think I can't teach something now, but I want to learn and share all I can hear, all I can see, all I can understand!

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can share time, but always share time, I hope that I can share good time!
Because I'm french, i like share a meal, but that can be just a drink or what you wan't.
And we can try to share good idea, sympathy, good vibes, good tipes, we can see at the moment!
