I'm a 23 year old Dutch guy who likes to Move. This can be any movement (read interests). I'm interested in people and learning about them & their country/city.

I've been couchsurfing in Marocco and it was amazing. I've had more couchsurfing experience in Sweden, Finland, Poland and Estonia, but not via this website.
Normally I'm quite the vacation planner, but via couchsurfing I hope to learn a bit more and be more open to adventures and new people.

Warum ich bei Couchsurfing bin

Since last summer I discovered how much I liked traveling around low budget. Last summer we tried to fix a couch in one day which didn't work, so we had to sleep in a public park. Which wasn't that bad at all by the way. Thereby I really like to learn about the city's history and see old architecture or parks. Without a local I won't see such things.
I wish I could host but for now that's not possible, but in the future I will host for sure!

slacklining, acroyoga, almost Zero Waste life style,the environment, teaching stuff, surfing (still learning), playing on my cajon (beginner), longboarding, good music, climbing, cooking, growing (indoor-)plants & vegetables, being outdoor, fire (not a pyromaniac), knotting, renovate old stuff instead of throwing it away, (ice) skating, camping, the colours red & yellow & green, old buildings and their history, (old) trees, DIY stuff

Musik, Filme und Bücher

Music:
Very wide range of musical interest, grew up with the golden oldies thought by my dad like Gary Moore, Eric Clapton, Van Morrison, Santana.
Now I love:
Bob Marley (or any other Marley), reggae in general, Matisyahu, My Baby, Bobby Alu, Xavier Rudd, RHCP, Tinariwen, Ben Howard, anything groofy or funky, My Baby, Dub FX and some Dubstep.

Books:
I went crazy about the trilogy of Stieg Larsson, books with riddles like Dan Brown are also great. Trying to read a book about the Brain from Dick Swaab, really though but very interesting! Reading the sublte art of not giving a fuck.

Films:
Pirates of the Caribean, Hatefull Eight, Shawshank Redemption, Bruce Almighty

Eine tolle Erfahrung, die ich gemacht habe

Took the last train up a hill, Slacklined for a bit until it became a bit darker. Rigged a hammock in just one big tree and slept there. Woke up with the sounds of birds and the early sunbeams through the leaves around us (and a lot of mosquito bites, would do it again 10/10).
