About Me
CURRENT MISSION
To be able to grow 80% of our own food on our 2 acre property in the Village of Gagetown!!
ABOUT ME
Born and raised in Summerside, PEI, Canada. Moved to Fredericton, NB for university and spent about 6.5 years there before leaving to travel across Canada, through Ecuador, and through Europe. Upon returning to Canada, my now husband, Sean, and I moved to British Columbia where we spent almost 2 years. Once back in New Bruswick, we discovered a house for sale in the very beautiful, quaint, and artsy Village of Gagetown (no relation to the base), and the rest is history.
We've been here in the Village for 8 years now, and have found our way into this wonderful community. We opened a store 2 years ago where we sell local produce and goods (ours and from other farms and producers
in the area), as well as natural/organic products and some conventional goods. And in my spare time, I'm a volunteer firefighter.
PHILOSOPHY
Everything works out for the best!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
My husband and I travelled via CS and Hospitality Club for 7 months in Europe (2006-2007), and during various other shorter travels, and now we're giving back to our couch surfing community. We've hosted many CS travelers since 2007.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
Personal travel - 7 months worth through 14 countries in Europe, and some other shorter stays in various places around the world... and we've hosted many people from everywhere :)
