Hi There!

My name is Daisy, 24 years old and I'm from the Netherlands.
My bills are paid by being a nurse in mental healthcare and in my free time I love to work out in the gym and having a good time with my friends (and a good glass of wine). On the other hand I enjoy relaxed day and watching a bunch of episodes on Netflix.
Besides that my other passion is traveling: To explore new places and to meet new people.

Por que estou no Couchsurfing?

At the beginning of December I'll travel to Melbourne to start my working holiday (what will take approximately one year but I hope it will take even longer). My plan is to stay in hostels and campsites but the best way to explore a city/town is to stay at locals and hear their stories.

I think people who are hosting on couchsurfing are nice and open and might be very inspirational to the rest of the people in this world. Some of them seem to be scared of the unknown and don't let strangers into their lives because of that. but for me it is just the unknown what draws me into traveling and therefore it is so great to experience there are a lot of open minded people in here with the same passion.
