CURRENT MISSION

I just want to travel as much as I can, while meeting wonderful new people everywhere I stay, and maybe learning a thing or two on the way. :)

ABOUT ME

I am Vegan. Or try to be as much as possible while travelling. It can be hard when in a foreign country with different customs, and have had vegetarian lapses. I love all animals. I have been riding since i was 8 years old. I love music and going to gigs and festivals, good food, nature, art, good times with good people. Feel free to ask me anything you want to know:)

PHILOSOPHY

People always say, do what you love, so as cheesy as it is, that's what I am here to do. I love traveling, expanding my view and experiences of the world, meeting new people, and making memories.

I am also vegan, mainly for the reason of animal rights, as well as the other benefits and aspects of a vegan lifestyle. People always ask why so here ya go: I would never want to kill or harm an animal(especially one so innocently enslaved by man) and I wouldn't want anybody else to do it for me; so if I can live a healthy lifestyle without contributing to the harm of another living being, I will do so. :)

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have couch surfed at friends of a family's friend type thing before. I have participated in a home-stay situation through a study abroad program. I have couch-surfed with people I have met while traveling in Europe and Australia and New Zealand. I have used work away many times as well and done a lot of volunteer live-in work. I have never used this website before though, all have been through other means of contact, but basically the same type of situation.

Interests

I love travelling and experiencing new cultures and meeting new people from all over the world with different and similar perspectives on life. I am very interested in animal rights and advocacy as I am vegan by choice mainly for this reason. I enjoy music, art, film, nature, history, sociology, comedy, all sorts of stuff:)

Music, Movies, and Books

I read a lot of non-fiction books about philopshy physics etc. As well as fiction along the lines of adventure sci-fi and fantasy, and dystopian worlds.

My music taste is all over the place, including electronic techno, trance, to jazz, oldies, alternative rock, blues, world beats and world music, old-school hip hop, the heavier rock, really just anything that sounds good to me.

I love a lot of kinds of movies too, from sci-fi fantasy, to nature/travel/science documentaries, animation films, comedies/dark humor, indie emotional films, superhero movies, historical time pieces and much more.

Teach, Learn, Share

I am good with animals and can help with any animal, yard, or garden work. I can do housework and cleaning as well. I am good with computers and web design/technology and writing. I am crafty/artsy and have skills with DIY building painting, decoration, construction. I can also help people with their English, and would love to exchange and learn any language you know as well. Ich spreche ein bisschen Deutsch. Je parle un peu de Francais. Estoy aprendiendo espanol.
