Hi there, my name is Damian and currently, I'm living in the south part of Germany, the state of Bavaria. But originally I grew up in Poland and have spent some time of my life in different parts of Germany.

I love biking, hiking, camping, being outside and enjoying nature together with my awesome dog Chico. I like traveling to exotic and interesting countries, meeting awesome people, taking pictures and having a nice time. Sometimes it is also nice for me to visit and explore big cities.

My other interests are more technical. I like to work on free and open-source software, empowering communities, visiting conferences and connect with other people.

I'm an easy-going, open-minded and uncomplicated guy, I don't smoke and just enjoy a small volume of good wine or beer with friends at special moments, every few years.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Due to my current job situation I'am not able to host guests for some time. But I am looking forward to be your host afterwards.

Spent a half year outdoor sabbatical in Australia and New Zealand. Realised life is beautiful also without work :)
