Why I'm on Couchsurfing
In practical terms right now to find places to stay in Boston, and New York. I love to learn about the people and the places I travel to. It's better for me that I'm not at hotels but in the company of local people and learn about the local communities I visit.
Music, Movies, and Books
Right now, my favourite piece of music is a mashup of Brahms and Radiohead. I really love it https://youtu.be/0RcBje6II6M but I enjoy a wide range of music - but not country and western except if it gritty old stuff. I love stories about how people have struggled to make the world a better place. I'd say that is the common theme knitting together lots of my choices.
One Amazing Thing I've Done
Gotten to the top of Mount Osser in Tasmania with my son on the most clear day and seeing Lake St Claire in the distance. As a family, we go on an adventure each year. Been in jail for protesting the US base at Pine Gap in central Australia. Seeing my children born into my arms at home.
