Overview
About Me
I love to travel and experience new places, especially road trips. I love being in my car and seeing the world change around me as I travel long distances, as well as the ability to just change things up as I go. Most of the time I travel with my girlfriend, Liz, and my dog, Georgia, around the Northeast where we live. Our favorite spots to explore are Vermont and Maine, getting out into the woods and finding great trails for us all to explore or coastal camp spots to enjoy. Liz and I also travel together longer distances (can't bear to put Georgia on a plane) and some of my favorite trips were a road trip down the West coast from Seattle to San Francisco, and our two week trip throughout lower England exploring Cornwall, Isle of Wight, London and Cambridge.
I also travel a bit for work, going to seminars and conferences all over the country. I grew up in construction and real estate and really enjoy getting to know and help so many people, whether it be to help buy a great new home or work through tough situations like foreclosure, retirement or divorce.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I realized recently that people have always been the big factor in our most memorable trips. Our favorite spot in Maine is a little Inn run by a great family and the hosts are so kind and helpful, our AirBNB hosts in Paris and Isle of Wight were incredible. This has made me think more about trying to meet more incredible people as I'm traveling and I thought Couchsurfing would be a great way to do that.
