.... Wow, I'm realizing the challenge of summing myself up into words.
Words that form walls.
Walls that construct the box that will carry me to you.

I am an open-minded traveler with a thirst for understanding, and a taste for adventure!
These are some of the things that fuel my desire to continue traveling, for as long as I can!

From my home in San Francisco - && many states in the USA, to Japan, France and Italy, the Dutch republic of Bonaire, and finally to Australia, where I am now... My journey is just beginning!

I have realized, that what they say is true.
Home IS where my heart is! ....Inside of myself. Anywhere and everywhere can be home when we are happy, and comfortable within.
......and meeting amazing friends all over this big beautiful country certainly helps too(: Australians have a wonderful way of making people feel loved and welcomed.

I'm a journalist by training, but like everything in life, I've evolved.

I have continued my love of journalism through environmental activism, as the Campaign Coordinator for Greenpeace in the SF Bay. You can check out our Instagram @greenpeacesanjose (or my Instagram @california_dani).

We have no borders. I believe that we are all one family on this beautiful Earth! And it is important that we take care of one another.

I love the ocean! I have 8 scuba certifications, and am now a master diver! I've only gotten to dive the GBR once, but it is my dream to work in ocean conservation here.

I also have a love for bartending which fuels my creative and social nature! So I can whip you up a wonderful drink (or 10:), if you like! This is mostly how I have funded my travels.

In Australia, I've been introduced to organic gardening, permaculture and conservation. I'm really interested in learning more about aboriginal and bush medicine, and I want to bring awareness to the world about the importance of sustainable agriculture. I believe the best way to positively influence others, is to lead by example. One day, I'll be self-sustained; grow all my own food and create my own energy.

Although I'm very independent and fueled by personal growth, I love meeting new friends.
I spend most of my time traveling with them.(:

But now, I feel, it's time to move on. Continue growing.. Literally and symbolically.

I like most music, and find myself switched into international music often. Especially the Balinese station. But I grew up on the classics: Funk, disco, rock, Techno, Bluegrass, Blues, Jazz, Indi, Alt, Folk. Nothing too poppy. ANYTHING that feels real.
