About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To live life to the fullest, hoping to create some good in the world along the way!

ABOUT ME

My name is Danielle and I laugh really loud. I love watermelon, mountains and swimming (among other things). I feel most at ease in nature but I love the excitement of travel as well, especially the meeting new people part. I know there's a lot of helpful, interesting and downright good people in the world and I can't wait to meet them!!!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Well for now I plan on participating by being an excellent guest to all those who chose to host me!(and by leaving comments on all the great hosters so they get the recognition they deserve) But once I get a house I definitely plan on hosting travelers myself!!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Most of my couchsurfing experience to date includes a tent and a friend of a friend's back yard, or some friend/relative/acquaintance's extra bed. I'm very excited to try something new!!

Interests

I like to dance, share stories, and meet interesting people. My favorite color is yellow and I love to cook, travel, hike and go camping. I am classically trained in ballet and I love to sing (though im not sure how much people like to hear it!!)

Music, Movies, and Books

I love everything by John Steinbeck and Vonnegut. Regina Spektor is my favorite artist along with Paul Simon, Iron and Wine, Beyonce and Dispatch.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I worked on a trail crew last summer in the mountains of Virginia for the Student Conservation Association. I worked with 5 other wonderful people working to improve America's back-country trail systems, while learning that I could live in a tent with no electricity, running water or grocery stores for 3 whole months. Its a life changing experience I would recommend to everyone!

Countries I’ve Visited

Belgium, Denmark, France

Countries I’ve Lived In

Netherlands, United States
