About Me
Well, I want to find what makes people click. What makes them the way they are.
I am trying to understand the concept of sonder (not actually a word, but the concept is still interesting).
Sonder: n. the realization that each random passerby is living a life as vivid and complex as your own—populated with their own ambitions, friends, routines, worries and inherited craziness—an epic story that continues invisibly around you like an anthill sprawling deep underground, with elaborate passageways to thousands of other lives that you’ll never know existed, in which you might appear only once, as an extra sipping coffee in the background, as a blur of traffic passing on the highway, as a lighted window at dusk.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I recently realized that exploring new places is one of the most rewarding and pleasant experiences a person could have. I went to Raleigh and I just had a blast walking around downtown, tracking down good restaurants, drinking at the different coffee places, meeting people in the most random ways, and such. A friend told me about Couchsurfing and I thought I would give it a shot.
Interests
I really like superhero movies, videogames, and geeky stuff like that. I like talking about philosophy, and social issues, and religion, even though I am not all that well-versed in any of them. I hike and I bike and I like to go on runs.
