About Me

Like most folks here, I love the world and I'm very open to new experiences and people.
I lived in the US starting at the age of 17, but I left to save the world. Also lived in Belgium a few years. Currently living back home in Romania, though who knows where the future might take me.

Economist, currently working as an economic designer for Ubisoft in Bucharest. Very laid back, easygoing, talkative and mostly extroverted, with more friends around the world than in my home country. Looking to experience the world in all is glory and tragedy, one of my greatest regrets is that one life is not enough for everything worth experiencing and learning.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music: Rock, classical, modern symphonic, good soundtracks, and generally anything musically good (not pop and top 100 charts)
Movies: comedies, well-done sci-fi and fantasy, anything with a good plot, characters and philosophy.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Definitions of "amazing" vary, but I guess if we go by adrenaline, maybe a 10-15 meter dive in the sea counts, right?
If we judge by results, I would consider changing a whole university's campus attitude to something constructive and positive could qualify as pretty amazing (though I did it with friends, not alone).

Teach, Learn, Share

Teach, Share: science (I can talk all day about nature sciences and social sciences alike), stories about people, economics, politics, history, technology (no, talking about iPhones doesn't qualify), traveling, countries and world cultures, cultural characteristics of countries, video games, strategy, cool ways to solve all sorts of problems.

Learn: anything interesting, but nothing shallow and pointless like celebrity gossip

What I Can Share with Hosts

I'm highly adaptable, it depends on what expectations are - either we can hang out, have fun, tell stories, play games, I can also contribute something, or we can keep it simple, if the host doesn't have time/energy for a lot of interaction.
So it depends on the hosts, I'm open to discussing these issues without embarrassment.
