My names Dan.
I'm Australian but I like to refer to myself as a mobile citizen of the World.
Currently, I've packed my life into two suitcases and have planned to live abroad for several years. If you would like to know more get in touch. I could possibly host but I live in a share house so all I can offer is a couch in the same room as me.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm on Couchsurfing after hearing about it from friends. I've always been a savvy traveller, camping in cars or airports if need be or just making a bed where ever I am. But to find a community that is dedicated aiding a mobile society really interests me. I am still very new to this but it really excites me.

I hope when I get settled in my new country that I am able to return the favour. What I have learnt from travelling is that the people you meet on your travels can change your life dramatically, they can also become lifelong friends. They might not be someone you hear from often but you can count on them if you run into them again.

I had a similar experience where I caught up with someone on my travels 5 years ago, I Just met them working behind a bar, when I was 20 years old travelling solo for the first time. Now that I'm 27 and decided to move overseas they were the first to put their hands up and offer me a place to stay while I get my life sorted.

Travelled around Iceland by 4wd camping out of it during winter where I saw some amazing sights and met amazing people.
