Overview
About Me
(I cannot host during football weekends.)
Everyone always tells you to go abroad, so I actually got up off the couch and did it (a couple times).
I'm not the biggest fan of the "About Me" sections on places cause it tends to cause me stress and intense introspective thought. But, I consider myself flexible, fun, and kind (I couldn't think of third "f" word that fit).
I'm a current undergraduate student at Penn State, and I study English, Philosophy, and Rhetoric. You'd think with that course of study I'd be better at writing this. Luckily, I'm a good talker, so you can get to know all about me in person.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I want to see the world and not the postcard version of it. And, meet the people who actually live there and not when they're making a living smiling at tourists.
Music, Movies, and Books
Music: An odd mix of R&B, soft rap, folk punk, and musicals
Movie: I'm blanking so hard right now on any movie I've ever seen
Book: Boys Without Names by Kashmira Sheth
Teach, Learn, Share
I love playing chess and card games, and I'd be happy to teach them!
I love learning about pretty much anything, but I especially enjoy learning about language.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I have some great stories about university life in America, linguistics research in Benin, and anything else you want to hear!
