About Me

Hello!! I am a 22 year old student at the College of New Jersey. I currently live off campus at my college with 13 of my best friends. I am philosophy major at school, I enjoy reading and discussing the work of great philosophers. With college nearing its end, I am looking to travel as much as possible. My girlfriend I have taken several trips in the U.S. together and we hope to continue that on an international level. In terms of my family, I am only child, but I do have one pet guinea pig!

I love to run and play/watch basketball. My favorite player is New York Knick's superstar, and Latvian legend, Kristaps Porzingis.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am on couch surfing because I want more than anything to be able to travel to as many places as possible and experience new cultures. Doing those things with my girlfriend would be a priceless experience. She is currently an au pair in Brussels and I have booked a flight to go visit her on December 19th. Needless to say, we are both extremely excited. We are hoping to be able to use couch surfing as a means of increasing the number of places we could realistically visit.

Music, Movies, and Books

My taste in music is very varied, ranging from alternative tracks, such as Two Door Cinema, all the way to rap from artists such as Drake.

Much like music, my taste in movies is also very broad. I enjoy horror movies, such as classics like "The Exorcist" to general comedies.

I enjoy reading mystery novels mostly.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

2 years ago I was able to accomplish a life time goal of mine--running a marathon. After running cross country/track in High school/college I knew that this was a feasible accomplishment. After 12 weeks of training I entered a race in Central Park, located in the heart of New York City. It was an incredible achievement and it instilled in me a lasting sense of confidence.

Teach, Learn, Share

Above all else, I am hoping to learn more about different cultures through couch surfing. Having only visited the U.S. and Canada, I very eager to broaden my horizons and experience the world. I want to be able to share my experience with my hosts and to talk about my European journey with friends and family upon my return.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can share with my hosts a truly "American" experience. For example, stories of my ultra religious, Trump supporting parents!! (Don't worry, I am the exact opposite). If a host had a desire to learn about American culture I could tell them anything/everything they could possibly hope to learn.

I could also share with my hosts a desire to learn more about their respective cultures.
