Overview
About Me
My names Danielle. Just your average girl trying to save the world... literally. I work at an environmental non-profit called We Are Neutral working to make businesses and residents carbon neutral through meaningful carbon offsets. I am a full time student at the University of Florida pursuing degrees in both sustainability studies and journalism. When I'm not out fighting for a better, more sustainable world i enjoy listening to records, going to concerts, doing the karaoke, hiking or anything that gets me immersed in nature. I'm unapologetically sarcastic. Gainesville is a beautiful place with a surprising amount of great things to explore.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I've been fortunate enough to do a bunch of traveling at an early age. I've had some of my best experiences amongst strangers and I enjoy the strong sense of community Couchsurfing brings to others who love to travel.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
This one time, a few years ago, I jumped out of this perfectly good airplane. It was pretty fucking awesome.
Teach, Learn, Share
I love sharing my experiences and travel knowledge with others as well as learning about new places to explore. I speak Spanish fluently which has helped me abroad. As an individual pursuing journalism, I am interested in writing about place, so I love talking to locals and uncovering hidden stories.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I can offer hosts good company, great baking recipes and sub-par jokes.
